This map calculates the threat of climate change displacement by overlapping three layers of data:

1. flooding during hurricane Sandy/hurricane evacuation zones;
2. income data, i.e., those making under $50,000 per year;
3. cost of housing, i.e., high rent areas and areas in which renters spend over 50% of their income on housing expenses.

Displacement Zones are areas where all three layers overlap. This map was produced in 2018 and updated in 2020.
